High throughput flow cytometry

Hello there! What about high throughput flow cells, ever heard of that? It may seem like an esoteric term, but it’s actually a very cool way to study a ton of cells at once and in a very efficient manner. We do this at Jinke Optical and because of the fact, scientists can get the results at a speed that is not even close to what they can achieve with traditional methods. Let’s explore this further, what does this mean and how does it work! If scientists want to better understand cells, there is a lot to check about them. They may, for example, want to know what proteins are present on the outer part of the cells and how big each cell is. Typically, the process involves analyzing one sample at a time using a machine known as a flow cytometer. If there are plenty of samples to validate, this can be time-consuming.

Improving efficiency with high throughput flow cytometry

But with high throughput flow cytometry, we can go through many samples, all at once! This saves a lot of time and enables scientists to receive their results with a significant increase in speed. Consider querying information on a hundred distinct cells individually. It would take forever! But using this approach, scientists can learn about all those cells in a fraction of the time. High throughput flow cell cytometry does not come at the expense of accuracy. And when scientists use this method, they can still obtain highly detailed and accurate information about their samples. This means they aren't just coming across backlog in a hurry, but rather having new data being collected at the same time. This is particularly the case when scientists are undertaking significant projects that have tight deadlines or when they are underfunded.
